The Madison Medical Practice Hornsby welcomes Dr Lakshmi Gauthaman a GP Registrar who will start consulting in February. Dr Gauthaman graduated in 2017 with MBBS from Sydney University, completed her internship and residency at Blacktown-Mt Druitt hospitals, and further paediatric training at Westmead Children’s hospital and Hornsby Hospital. She has also completed Sydney Child Health program, as well as a Ph.D through research, working on stem cells. During her GP training years, she has also worked rurally at Bathurst where she gained clinical experience across a broader range of ailments.
Dr Gauthaman enjoys all aspects of general practice particularly in preventative medicine, women’s health (including Implanon insertion and removal) and paediatrics; and looks forward to the opportunity to provide preventative and holistic medical care to the beautiful local community in which she resides with her family.
Dr Lakshmi Gauthaman is a GP Registrar in training who is employed by the Madison Medical Practice Hornsby as to NTCER and RACGP guidelines.
