Dr Anne-Marie Hutchinson is a registered clinical psychologist with a special interest in medical and health psychology. She has worked for over a decade in private practice as well as consulting in the hospital sector with assisting individuals with adjustment, coping and finding meaning in the face of chronic or terminal illness, injury or surgery, disability, and general mental health. She has experience in treating adults with depression, PTSD, anxiety, stress, trauma, pain management, grief, oncology, and psychological aspects of various medical conditions such as Diabetes and Parkinson’s Disease. Dr Hutchinson believes that psychological well-being and resilience means not only identifying what goes wrong for individuals from a psychological perspective, but also on what goes right with people, and how clients can be facilitated through the process of therapy to access their strengths and the resilient parts of themselves.
Training has included various modalities including evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), interpersonal therapy and mindfulness. Dr Hutchinson also undertook extensive training in psychodynamic psychotherapy and existential/Gestalt psychology as part of a D Litt et Phil program. She has presented research on resilience and psychological well-being at various conferences and training programs and has been published nationally and internationally. Dr Hutchinson is registered with AHPRA and holds a “clinical psychology” endorsement, is a Medicare provider and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and International Association for Clinical Neuropsychotherapy (IACN).
Dr Jesse Luo is a dedicated male GP who graduated from Medicine at the University of Newcastle with honours in 2012. Jesse has been appointed the Medical Principal of the Madison Medical Practice Hornsby and as he has shown true leadership to his medical peers. Jesse prides himself on quality medical care and is currently teaching the next generation of medical professionals these skills, at both undergraduate and postgraduate university levels. Jesse trained at Westmead Hospital gaining experience in Emergency care, Respiratory and Palliative Care medicine. He has completed the Diploma in Child Health in 2014, and gained a diverse range of experience during his rural General Practice training in Muswellbrook and in the Central Coast. Denise is a General Practitioner who graduated from Medicine at the University of New South Wales with Honor’s in 2009. She has a wide spectrum of medical interests and prides herself to work through and solve complex cases. Denise trained at Royal North Shore Hospital in Oncology and Palliative care, which has enabled her to engage not only with her patients through this difficult stage in life but how this health issue affects the entire family. Denise is a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners and has since completed a Diploma of Child Health to complement her interest in this field and is skilled in complex chronic illnesses, women’s health and aged care. Dr Michael Shen is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, and graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine from Monash University and enhanced his knowledge by completing a Masters of Public Health from University of New South Wales. Michael’s medical training has seen him care and treat patients in a variety of Hospitals in Sydney, Melbourne, Warragul and Bathurst. Michael’s exposure as a Registrar in the specialty areas of Cardiology and Respiratory medicine has led him to utilise these skills now in General Practice. Dr Jung- Yoon Huh a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners obtained her medical degree from the University of Sydney. She worked as a Pharmacist before medicine but realised her passion in patient interaction and holistic approach to patient care. She has interests in Women’s health, children’s health, mental health and preventive medicine. She has DRANZCOG (Diploma in Women’s health) and currently undertaking Diploma in Child Health. She has been actively involved in community volunteer work especially for culturally and linguistically diverse groups. Dr Areej George graduated with a MBCHB from Iraq in 2001, and completed her GP training in the UK at The Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital in 2011. Having this hospital training Areej has gained exposure into Emergency management, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Respiratory, ENT and General Surgery. She is a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners in the UK and a Fellow of the Australian College of General Practitioners, and holds a Diploma in Family Planning. Dr. Kuldeep Sidhu is the Principal General Practitioner at The Madison Medical Practice. Kuldeep was born in Malaysia and studied undergraduate medicine in India at Manipal which he completed in 1981. Kuldeep returned to work in Malaysia for six years before pursuing post graduate studies in the UK and migrated to Australia in 1989, where he completed his registration and FRACP and commenced his professional career in General Practice. The Madison Medical Practice Hornsby welcomes Dr Jordan Summers to the Medical Team. Jordan is a GP Synergy Registrar and will commence his 6 month rotation in August. Jordan obtained his medical degree at Sydney University. Prior to study he worked full time in outdoor education before realising a passion for medicine and patient centred care. He has previously studied a Bachelor of Human Movement at UTS. Following studying he was based at Hornsby Kuring-Gai Hospital with rotations to Mona Vale, Manly and the SAN. During this time he gained experience in Emergency Medicine, Rehabilitation, and General Medicine. Ritu specialises in the management of health problems in infants and children. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians. Ritu a mother herself understands the emotional stresses parents confront with their new born, she has a special interest in managing various newborn and Paediatric conditions, such as Asthma, constipation, to the management of complex developmental and behavioural issues such as speech delay, ADHD, Autism and other behavioural and developmental conditions. Chung is a Consultant Cardiologist at the Sydney North Cardiology group and the Mater Hospital and now has joined our team to provide Cardiology Clinics at The Madison Medical Practice. Chung has completed a fellowship in Cardiac Imaging in St Vincent’s hospital and holds a PhD in Cardiac Imaging. Chung’s special interests include cardiac imaging, general cardiology and heart failure. He also performs complex diagnostic procedures and is an accredited Level B CT coronary angiography specialist. He currently reports cardiac CT for radiology providers. Chung is fluent in Mandarin. Leesa is a Registered Psychologist, who trained at the University of New South Wales and Sydney University. She has extensive knowledge and experience in working with acute and chronic clinical Mental Health presentations, such as schizophrenia and bipolar, as well as with gambling addictions, anxiety, depression, trauma, parenting concerns and has experience in working with children, adolescents, adults as well as older persons. Her special interests are parenting interventions, attachment theory depression, anxiety, gambling and post natal depression and psycho-education.

Amrit is a Clinical Psychologist who trained at Macquarie University and received her Clinical Masters from the University of Wollongong. She has also received specialist training in the treatment of anxiety and depression at the prestigious Beck Institute in the United States. Amrit has worked extensively with children, adolescents, adults and families presenting with a wide range of psychological concerns including; anxiety, depression, anger concerns, ADHD, Behavioural difficulties, Personality disorders and relationship problems. Amrit has also been responsible for the development and implementation of group-based programs for stress and anxiety.
Sonia is a Registered Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia after completing her degree at the University of Sydney. Sonia has extensive experience assessing and treating children of different ages with a range of difficulties including speech, language and literacy delays, stuttering, social skills and behavioural difficulties in both private practice and school settings. Sonia’s empathetic personality and passion for working with kids makes her an approachable therapist that both children and families enjoy working with.
Sonia also has experience seeing clients with additional needs. She has developed a passion for early language therapy with a particular interest in working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Gauri is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian specialising in South Asian Diets. She grew up in the country side on fresh vegetarian food and loved growing vegetables from a young age. Quincy is a Registered Podiatrist working in both public hospitals and in private practice. He aims to help clients of all ages stay active and on their feet by assessing, diagnosing and treating foot and lower limb problems. Conditions that can be managed by a Podiatrist include skin conditions such as corn, callus, wart, cracked heels, and tinea; nail conditions such as thickened nail and ingrown toenails; foot and ankle injuries including foot and ankle pain, sprains and fractures; pain in the legs, knee, hip and back due to poor biomechanics of the feet; and problems with gait including flat and high arch feet, bunions, and other toe deformities; as well as paediatric foot conditions such as Sever’s Disease and Osgood-Schlatter’s Disease. To complement her skills, she later completed another Degree in Health majoring in Management, Health promotion and Education. Linda has extensive Clinical and Managerial experience within the hospital and community health settings, by leading both clinical and non-clinical personnel, and has been a Mentor to many students over the past 20 years. Linda is a qualified Child and Family Health Nurse and Nurse Immuniser. In 2016 Linda was appointed a AGPAL Co-surveyor enabling her to review and accredit other General Practice facilities to ensure optimum service delivery to all patients across Australia. Linda has extensive experience with babies and prides herself on assisting and educating mothers with their newborns. Practice / Registered Nurse, Midwife, Nurse Immuniser, Well women and Respiratory Nurse. Joyce is the in-charge Nurse within the practice. She trained in England as a Registered Nurse in Derbyshire and later went on to do her midwifery training in Liverpool, UK. She has extensive experience in the hospital setting and then as a community midwife for over 15 years, working both in the community and in the birthing unit and teaching antenatal and postnatal classes. For the last 20 years she has worked in a GP setting and is a qualified Nurse Immuniser and Respiratory nurse. Kiran graduated from the Goldcoast TAFE in 2016 as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse. She has been working for many years as a Medical Receptionist and has extensive experience within the health care setting. Kiran is fluent in English and Punjabi.
Troy has studied at both The University of New South Wales and The University of Sydney. Over the past 20 years he has held Senior roles in clinical and business positions in both Primary and Secondary Eyecare settings. He has led teams and developed strategies to successfully launch new Ophthalmic procedures and products to benefit patient welfare and accelerate business performance.
After managing The Sydney Eye Centre – a combined Ophthalmic Day Surgery and Eye Centre for Primary Health Care Ltd, he established Primary Eye Care in 2002, the first company in Australia to incorporate 4 levels of eyecare (Ophthalmology, Orthoptic’s, Optometry and Optical Dispensing) and grew this to 3 practices across Sydney in 7 years. He sold his interest in 2009 and embarked on a corporate career with Alcon Laboratories Ltd – a Global Eyecare leader in Ophthalmic Devices/Pharmaceuticals and was appointed the first National Key Account Manager for the Surgical Division in 2015, and was responsible for developing strategic Ophthalmic partnerships with National and International Corporate Groups.
