Dr. Kuldeep Sidhu is the Principal General Practitioner at The Madison Medical Practice. Kuldeep was born in Malaysia and studied undergraduate medicine in India at Manipal which he completed in 1981. Kuldeep returned to work in Malaysia for six years before pursuing post graduate studies in the UK and migrated to Australia in 1989, where he completed his registration and FRACP and commenced his professional career in General Practice. In 2002 Kuldeep established The Madison Medical Practice in Hornsby, with a focus to deliver the highest possible medical care for his patients. Kuldeep has a keen interest in Aged Care, Mental Health, Men’s, Women’s & Child’s Health. His dedication and commitment over the years to his patients has shown that he is a well-respected empathetic Medical Practitioner within the Hornsby community. Dr Sidhu is fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi and Bahasa Malaysia.
Gagan is a female General Practitioner who graduated from the Government Medical College in Amritsar, India in 1992. After migrating to Australia in 1996 she continued her studies and trained at Prince of Wales Hospital, Concord Repatriation General Hospital for many years to expose herself to many areas of patient care to enhance her medical experience. Gagan commenced her General Practice Specialty training at the University of Western Sydney as a part of the “Wentwest” program in 2005. After completing her rural term in Oberon she joined the team at The Madison Medical Practice in 2006 and has been a devoted to the Hornsby community ever since. Gagan’s empathetic and extensive experience has seen patients come from all over Sydney, a testament of her commitment to practice holistic medicine. Gagan has a special interest in Women’s and Children’s health, as well as Family Health and Geriatrics. Gagan is fluent in English, Punjabi and Hindi. Her aim as a General Practitioner is to practice medicine where she can provide quality care to all her patients and be available for them when in need.

Gus has been a Doctor for over 17 years and a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners since 2010. Gus is passionate about Patient care, and prides himself on attention to detail and thoroughness. His vast experience in both rural and city communities have given him a greater understanding of people which enhances patient engagement.
Gus has worked in several leading hospitals including the Royal Adelaide and St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney over his career and enjoys teaching the next generation of General Practitioners as a GP Synergy Supervisor. Gus has special interests in Pediatrics, Preventative Medicine and has experience in Aged Care management. Gus is fluent in English and Arabic.
Denise is a General Practitioner who graduated from Medicine at the University of New South Wales with Honor’s in 2009. She has a wide spectrum of medical interests and prides herself to work through and solve complex cases. Denise trained at Royal North Shore Hospital in Oncology and Palliative care, which has enabled her to engage not only with her patients through this difficult stage in life but how this health issue affects the entire family. Denise has completed a Diploma of Child Health to complement her interest in this field and is skilled in complex chronic illnesses, women’s health and aged care. Denise is passionate about delivering holist care to her patients and the extended family, focusing on good communication and patient-centered management. Jung-Yoon obtained her medical degree from the University of Sydney. She worked as a pharmacist before medicine but realised her passion in patient interaction and holistic approach to patient care. She has interests in Women’s health, children’s health, mental health and preventive medicine. She has DRANZCOG (Diploma in Women’s health) and currently undertaking Diploma in Child Health. She has been actively involved in community volunteer work especially for culturally and linguistically diverse groups. She provides a shared antenatal care to pregnant women booked at Manly, Mona Vale, Hornsby and Royal North Shore Hospital. She is bilingual, fluent in Korean (한국어) and English.
Dr Eric Chan is a dedicated General Practitioner who trained at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney and completed a Bachelor of Medicine at the University of Newcastle. His life experience has shown the importance of holistic care, helping his patients achieve and maintain a healthy balance mentally, spiritually and physically. His beautiful wife Cecilia and two very adorable daughters help keep him grounded. He enjoys all aspects of family medicine and conducts consults in English, Cantonese and Mandarin (可提供中文服务). He is a great listener and goes beyond to solve complex medical cases, he is also known to enjoy a good chat!
Dr Michael Shen is a General Practitioner who graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine from Monash University and enhanced his knowledge by completing a Masters of Public Health from University of New South Wales. Michael’s medical training has seen him care and treat patients in a variety of Hospitals in Sydney, Melbourne, Warragul and Bathurst. Michael’s exposure as a Registrar in the specialty areas of Cardiology and Respiratory medicine has led him to utilise these skills now in General Practice. Michael has a strong passion for Preventative Health Care with an aim to help all his patients achieve a well-balanced lifestyle. Michael performs foreign body removal, suturing and wound management.
The Madison Medical Practice Hornsby welcomes Dr Harpereet Singh an experienced GP and Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Harpereet graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2008. He has a special interest in Men’s Health and the Management of Chronic Disease. Harpereet is bilingual in Malay and Hindi.
Edward is a General Practitioner at The Madison Medical Practice. Edward has extensive experience as a Family Doctor who relieves the Senior General Practitioner’s when they are on leave. Edward enjoys working in remote communities and spends most his year in central Australia managing and treating indigenous communities. He is also available during our busy winter periods on Saturday’s.
Dr Jesse Luo is a male GP who graduated from Medicine at the University of Newcastle with honours in 2012. He trained at Westmead Hospital with experience in Emergency care, Respiratory and Palliative Care medicine. He has completed the Diploma in Child Health in 2014, and gained a diverse range of experience during his rural General Practice training in Muswellbrook and in the Central Coast. Dr Luo is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin (可提供中文服务).
Ritu specialises in the management of health problems in infants and children. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians. Ritu a mother herself understands the emotional stresses parents confront with their new born, she has a special interest in managing various newborn and Paediatric conditions, such as Asthma, constipation, to the management of complex developmental and behavioural issues such as speech delay, ADHD, Autism and other behavioural and developmental conditions. To complement her skills to ensure she remains aware of all latest medical treatments Ritu lectures at the University of New South Wales to medical students. Ritu has regular monthly sessions at the Practice and is fluent in English & Hindi.
Chung is a Consultant Cardiologist at the Sydney North Cardiology group and the Mater Hospital and now has joined our team to provide Cardiology Clinics at The Madison Medical Practice. Chung has completed a fellowship in Cardiac Imaging in St Vincent’s hospital and is currently completing a PhD research investigation the utility of cardiac computed tomography angiography in the clinical setting in the St Vincent’s Hospital and Victor Chang Cardiac Institute. Chung special interests include cardiac imaging, general cardiology and heart failure. He also performs complex diagnostic procedures and is an accredited Level B CT coronary angiography specialist. He currently reports cardiac CT for radiology providers. Chung is fluent in English, Cantonese and can converse in Hokkien.
Christina is a Registered Psychologist who attained her qualifications from Macquarie University and the Australian College of Applied Psychology. She has knowledge and expertise working collaboratively and holistically with children, adolescents and adults presenting with a range of difficulties around depression, anxiety, stress and burn out, grief, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, parenting concerns, significant life changes and striving to fulfil one’s potential.
Christina uses evidence-based techniques to help her clients overcome unfavourable thoughts, feelings and behaviour. Christina is passionate about helping individuals nurture their strengths and work through personal and emotional challenges. The therapeutic domains Christina draws upon in her practice include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, mindfulness counselling and psychoeducation. She has a particular interest in resilience building, enhancing self efficacy, fostering assertiveness skills and couples therapy.

Amrit is a Clinical Psychologist who trained at Macquarie University and received her Clinical Masters from the University of Wollongong. She has also received specialist training in the treatment of anxiety and depression at the prestigious Beck Institute in the United States. Amrit has worked extensively with children, adolescents, adults and families presenting with a wide range of psychological concerns including; anxiety, depression, anger concerns, ADHD, Behavioural difficulties, Personality disorders and relationship problems. Amrit has also been responsible for the development and implementation of group-based programs for stress and anxiety.
Gauri is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian specialising in South Asian Diets. She grew up in the country side on fresh vegetarian food and loved growing vegetables from a young age. She believes that healthy eating is possible in every culture and cuisine. Gauri is passionate about cooking from fresh ingredients and trialling various cuisines. She is a mother of a toddler and understands the challenges of cooking for a family with varying nutritional needs and tastes. Gauri has been working as a dietitian for 5 years and in private practice for 2 years. She enjoys working in a multidisciplinary team who are committed to holistic and preventative health. Gauri’s favourite thing about being a private dietitian is getting to know and help her patients from diverse backgrounds to love food and enjoy good health. Gauri has had experience in a major public hospitals and various nursing homes. Jessica is passionate about health care and fitness and has developed many skills working in multiple physiotherapy settings: Private practice, hospitals and occupational rehab. She has completed, Bounce Back lower back preventative core exercise training programs and the esteemed Professor Jill Cook’s Lower Limb Tendinopathy course and Sports Level 1.

Christineis an Accredited Exercise Physiologist who is experienced in implementing exercise for the prevention and management of a variety of chronic health conditions including Obesity, Diabetes, Hypertension, Hypercholesterolemia, Osteoporosis and Arthritis. He has a passion for equipping people with the knowledge and confidence to be exercising independently and a keen interest in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, particularly in chronic lower back pain.
Registered, Child & Family Health Nurse, Nurse Immuniser & AGPAL Co-surveyor. Linda graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing at The University of Western Sydney in 1992. To complement her skills, she later completed another Degree in Health majoring in Management, Health promotion and Education. Linda has extensive Clinical and Managerial experience within the hospital and community health settings, by leading both clinical and non-clinical personnel, and has been a Mentor to many students over the past 20 years. Linda is a qualified Child and Family Health Nurse and Nurse Immuniser. In 2016 Linda was appointed a AGPAL Co-surveyor enabling her to review and accredit other General Practice facilities to ensure optimum service delivery to all patients across Australia. Linda has extensive experience with babies and prides herself on assisting and educating mothers with their newborns. Linda’s care and devotion to her patients has seen her become a popular Health Care Professional not only within the Hornsby Community but the North Shore.
Practice / Registered Nurse, Midwife, Nurse Immuniser, Well women and Respiratory Nurse. Joyce is the in-charge Nurse within the practice. She trained in England as a Registered Nurse in Derbyshire and later went on to do her midwifery training in Liverpool, UK. She has extensive experience in the hospital setting and then as a community midwife for over 15 years, working both in the community and in the birthing unit and teaching antenatal and postnatal classes. For the last 20 years she has worked in a GP setting and is a qualified Nurse Immuniser and Respiratory nurse. Joyce is also involved in conducting a Women’s Wellness Clinic, something that she used to do when she was in the UK. Please speak to Joyce if you would like more information about this Clinic. Mags is a Registered Midwife and International Breastfeeding Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and a Member of Lactation Consultants of Australia and New Zealand (LCANZ), International Lactation Consultants Association (ILCA).
She graduated as a Midwife BSC (Hons) in the UK. My experience as a midwife for the past 20 years has come from working at some of the largest teaching hospitals in the UK. She moved to Sydney almost 10 years ago with my family, and for the past 9 years and has been working at Mater Private Hospital as a midwife and more recently as Lactation Consultant and discharge and early follow up midwife.
As a mother of 5 children, including twins, she knows how challenging breastfeeding can be. Her passion for breastfeeding and those early days following birth, has come not only from her own experience but also working with new parents and the challenges that comes with becoming new parents.
Her aim is to support you with any antenatal concerns you may have around breastfeeding and with any breastfeeding challenges once your baby is born. She will provide individualised care, using evidence based practice to deliver the best outcome for you and your baby.
Troy has studied at both The University of New South Wales and The University of Sydney. Over the past 20 years he has held Senior roles in clinical and business positions in both Primary and Secondary Eyecare settings. He has led teams and developed strategies to successfully launch new Ophthalmic procedures and products to benefit patient welfare and accelerate business performance.
After managing The Sydney Eye Centre – a combined Ophthalmic Day Surgery and Eye Centre for Primary Health Care Ltd, he established Primary Eye Care in 2002, the first company in Australia to incorporate 4 levels of eyecare (Ophthalmology, Orthoptic’s, Optometry and Optical Dispensing) and grew this to 3 practices across Sydney in 7 years. He sold his interest in 2009 and embarked on a corporate career with Alcon Laboratories Ltd – a Global Eyecare leader in Ophthalmic Devices/Pharmaceuticals and was appointed the first National Key Account Manager for the Surgical Division in 2015, and was responsible for developing strategic Ophthalmic partnerships with National and International Corporate Groups.
As a Director of The Madison Medical Practice for the past 4 years, his vision is to continually shape and grow the companies culture and ethos of “Excellence with Empathy” for the Hornsby Community. Troy’s aim will be to deliver processes to assist in achieving the highest standard of general practice care collectively with like-minded Health Care Professionals.
Holds a Bachelor degree in Management Accounting. Marisa has been with The Madison Medical Team since 2012 and has been involved with implementing cloud-based Accounting solutions. She works closely with the Practice Manager and Senior Management to ensure all financial aspects are managed accurately and timely.
Has attained a Bachelor of Business and has worked with The Madison Medical Team since 2013. Nina has recently been promoted to Practice Manager after showing strong leadership qualities as our Senor Receptionist for many years. Nina works closely with all team members, to ensure that patient care is always made the highest priority.
