Dr Denise Huang is the current Medical Principal of the Madison Medical Practice Hornsby and has consulted at the practice for nearly a decade. During this time she has provided excellent medical care to the Hornsby community whilst demonstrating leadership to her peers.
She graduated from Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery UNSW with Honours in 2009 and completed hospital training at Royal North Shore Hospital with extended experience in oncology and palliative care. She has also completed a Diploma of Child Health. She is a compassionate and caring GP that understands the difficulties of dealing with unfavourable diagnoses and how health issues affect the entire family.
Dr Denise Huang is an active member of the RACGP and is currently involved in supervision and training of GP registrars and medical students.
Dr Huang is passionate about delivering holistic and individualised care to her patients by focusing on good communication, and providing latest treatment options. She has a broad medical and minor surgical skill set which complements her interests in managing complex chronic illnesses, paediatric health, women’s health as well as aged care.

Dr Jordan Summers is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, and obtained his medical degree at Sydney University. Prior to studying medicine Jordan worked in Outdoor Education and studied a Bachelor of Human Movement at UTS.
Jordan completed his Internship and Residency at Hornsby Hospital where he gained experience in Emergency Medicine, General Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr Michael Shen is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine from Monash University and enhanced his knowledge by completing a Masters of Public Health from University of New South Wales and Graduate Certificate of Allergic Diseases from Western Sydney University
Michael’s medical training has seen him care and treat patients in a variety of hospitals in Sydney, Melbourne, Warragul and Bathurst. Michael’s exposure as a Registrar in the specialty areas of Cardiology and Respiratory medicine has led him to utilise these skills now in General Practice.
He has a particular interest in managing moderate to severe Allergic Rhinitis (hay fever), Asthma and Eczema. Dr Ning enjoys caring for all age groups, from all cultural and social backgrounds. Dr Jung-Yoon Huh embarked on her career as a pharmacist after graduating from the University of Otago in New Zealand. Whilst she enjoyed the role of ensuring the safe use of medications and patient education, she realised her passion for more holistic, patient-centred care in the community. Dr Huh returned to study medicine at the University of Sydney while raising a young family in 2007. During this period, she experienced first-hand the importance of women’s role in supporting their families and community. As a mother, she was naturally drawn to paediatrics.
After internship and residency at Westmead hospital, she undertook further training to complete a Diploma in Women’s health (DRANZCOG) and Children’s health (DCH). She obtained invaluable clinical experiences at various hospitals across NSW but was ultimately attracted to primary care. Dr Huh feels privileged to provide quality health care to patients and their families by incorporating digital health and technology in her practice.
She provides a wide range of services in women’s health; shared antenatal care with Royal North Shore and Hornsby Hospital, insertion and removal of Implanon and intrauterine devices, cervical screening test, STI check and menopause. She is also accredited for prescribing restricted medications to treat chronic hepatitis B.
Dr Huh is a member of the Australasian Menopause Society and Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine. She regularly volunteers in community work, especially for culturally and linguistically diverse groups. She is fluent in Korean (한국어) and English.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading books with a cup of coffee, attending webinars (thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic) and driving her children to extra-curricular activities.

Dr Kuldeep Sidhu was born in Malaysia and studied undergraduate medicine in India at Manipal which he completed in 1981. Kuldeep returned to work in Malaysia for six years before pursuing postgraduate studies in the UK and migrated to Australia in 1989, where he completed his registration and FRACP and commenced his professional career in General Practice.
In 2002 Kuldeep established The Madison Medical Practice in Hornsby, with a focus to deliver the highest possible medical care for his patients. Dr Ying Yu is a fellow of Royal College of General practitioners, and graduated from the University of New South Wales and completed her internship and residency at Westmead Hospital where she gained experience in Emergency, General Medicine, Psychiatry and Surgery. Ying has since worked at Children’s Hospital at Westmead where she completed Diploma of Child Health, various practices including Laurieton, Springwood and Carlingford.

Chris graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2018 and completed his hospital training at Concord and Nepean hospitals. He then went on to undergo his first year of GP training in the colourful town of Orange in Western NSW. Chris completed the Sydney Child Health Program through the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network in 2020, and has a specific interest in paediatric medicine. Dr Chung-Yao Yu is a Consultant Cardiologist at the Sydney North Cardiology group and the Mater Hospital. Chung-Yao is passionate about patient care and has been conducting a Cardiac Clinicc at The Madison Medical Practice Hornsby for the past 5 years. Chung-Yao completed his fellowship in Cardiac Imaging in St Vincent’s hospital and holds a PhD in Cardiac Imaging. Chung-Yao’s special interests include cardiac imaging, general cardiology and heart failure. He also performs complex diagnostic procedures and is an accredited Level B CT coronary angiography specialist. He currently reports cardiac CT for radiology providers. Leesa is a Registered Psychologist, who trained at the University of New South Wales and Sydney University. She has extensive knowledge and experience in working with acute and chronic clinical Mental Health presentations, such as schizophrenia and bipolar, as well as with gambling addictions, anxiety, depression, trauma, parenting concerns and has experience in working with children, adolescents, adults as well as older persons. Her special interests are parenting interventions, attachment theory depression, anxiety, gambling and post natal depression and psycho-education.
Leesa is a Psychology Supervisor and mentors and teaches Psychology Interns. She works collaboratively, using a variety of therapy styles including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Solution Focussed therapy, Motivational Interviewing and strengths based therapy. Dr Anne-Marie Hutchinson is a registered clinical psychologist with a special interest in medical and health psychology. She has worked for over a decade in private practice as well as consulting in the hospital sector with assisting individuals with adjustment, coping and finding meaning in the face of chronic or terminal illness, injury or surgery, disability, and general mental health. She has experience in treating adults with depression, PTSD, anxiety, stress, trauma, pain management, grief, oncology, and psychological aspects of various medical conditions such as Diabetes and Parkinson’s Disease. Gauri is an Accredited Practising Dietitian specializing in digestive health and diabetes management. She grew up in the country side on fresh vegetarian food and loved growing vegetables from a young age. Quincy is a Registered Podiatrist working in both public hospitals and in private practice. He aims to help clients of all ages stay active and on their feet by assessing, diagnosing and treating foot and lower limb problems. Conditions that can be managed by a Podiatrist include skin conditions such as corn, callus, wart, cracked heels, and tinea; nail conditions such as thickened nail and ingrown toenails; foot and ankle injuries including foot and ankle pain, sprains and fractures; pain in the legs, knee, hip and back due to poor biomechanics of the feet; and problems with gait including flat and high arch feet, bunions, and other toe deformities; as well as paediatric foot conditions such as Sever’s Disease and Osgood-Schlatter’s Disease. Linda Severino is an experienced registered, child & family health nurse, nurse immuniser & the director of the Madison Medical Practices. Linda graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing at The University of Western Sydney in 1992. To complement her skills, she later completed another Degree in health majoring in management, health promotion and education. Linda has extensive clinical & managerial experience within the hospital & community health settings, by leading both clinical and non-clinical personnel, and has been a Mentor to many students over the past 30 years. Linda is a qualified child and family health nurse & nurse immuniser. Linda has extensive experience with babies & prides herself on assisting and educating mothers with their newborns. Linda’s care and devotion to her patients has seen her become a popular Health Care Professional.
Linda is currently the operations manager of the practices and also nurses when relieving staff.
Pinky is a Registered Nurse and Nurse Immuniser she graduated with a Bachelor degree of Nursing at Central Philippine Adventist College in year 2009. Most of her experience has been within hospital settings specifically in both Surgical and Theatres. Pinky has also attained a Graduate Certificate of Nursing (Bridging Course) at Australian College of Nursing in Parramatta in 2020, and completed her Immunisation Course this year, as she has been enjoying General Practice care.
Practice / Registered Nurse, Midwife, Nurse Immuniser, Well women and Respiratory Nurse. Joyce is the in-charge Nurse within the practice. She trained in England as a Registered Nurse in Derbyshire and later went on to do her midwifery training in Liverpool, UK. She has extensive experience in the hospital setting and then as a community midwife for over 15 years, working both in the community and in the birthing unit and teaching antenatal and postnatal classes. For the last 20 years she has worked in a GP setting and is a qualified Nurse Immuniser and Respiratory nurse. Joyce is also involved in conducting a Women’s Wellness Clinic, something that she used to do when she was in the UK. Please speak to Joyce if you would like more information about this Clinic. The Madison Medical Practice is pleased to welcome our newest registered nurse, Chaska. Chaska completed her Bachelor of Nursing Degree at Australian Catholic University; she then underwent her New Graduate role at North Shore Private before moving to Royal North Shore Hospital, where she gained experience in a fast-paced surgical ward. Chaska found her passion in Primary Health Care and loves the aspect of building ongoing patient relationships and patient-focused care. She is currently undertaking her Nurse Immuniser course and aims to soon become a Child and Family Health Nurse. In her spare time, she enjoys competing in water polo and CrossFit.
Alex is an Enrolled Nurse, having completed her Diploma of Nursing in 2022. She enjoys working in general practice particularly, as it gives her the opportunity to be involved with the ongoing care of patients. When Alex isn’t at work, she enjoys travelling and spending time with family and friends.
Grace completed her Bachelor of Nursing degree at Australian Catholic University in 2023. Grace has worked in disability support, cosmetic and hospital settings in the past, but now finds her true passion in primary care. She values the relationships and trust she forms with her patients at the clinic and loves her amazing colleagues. Grace is currently undertaking her Nurse Immuniser course and would love to one day become a Child and Family Health Nurse. In her spare time, she enjoys relaxing with family, friends and pets.
