Troy has studied at both The University of New South Wales and The University of Sydney. Over the past 20 years he has held Senior roles in clinical and business positions in both Primary and Secondary Eyecare settings. He has led teams and developed strategies to successfully launch new Ophthalmic procedures and products to benefit patient welfare and accelerate business performance.
After managing The Sydney Eye Centre – a combined Ophthalmic Day Surgery and Eye Centre for Primary Health Care Ltd, he established Primary Eye Care in 2002, the first company in Australia to incorporate 4 levels of eyecare (Ophthalmology, Orthoptic’s, Optometry and Optical Dispensing) and grew this to 3 practices across Sydney in 7 years. He sold his interest in 2009 and embarked on a corporate career with Alcon Laboratories Ltd – a Global Eyecare leader in Ophthalmic Devices/Pharmaceuticals and was appointed the first National Key Account Manager for the Surgical Division in 2015, and was responsible for developing strategic Ophthalmic partnerships with National and International Corporate Groups.
As a Director of The Madison Medical Practice for the past 4 years, his vision is to continually shape and grow the companies culture and ethos of “Excellence with Empathy” for the Hornsby Community. Troy’s aim will be to deliver processes to assist in achieving the highest standard of general practice care collectively with like-minded Health Care Professionals.
Holds a Bachelor degree in Management Accounting. Marisa has been with The Madison Medical Team since 2012 and has been involved with implementing cloud-based Accounting solutions. She works closely with the Practice Manager and Senior Management to ensure all financial aspects are managed accurately and timely.
Has attained a Bachelor of Business and has worked with The Madison Medical Team since 2013. Nina has recently been promoted to Practice Manager after showing strong leadership qualities as our Senor Receptionist for many years. Nina works closely with all team members, to ensure that patient care is always made the highest priority.
