Dr. Kuldeep Sidhu is the Principal General Practitioner at The Madison Medical Practice. Kuldeep was born in Malaysia and studied undergraduate medicine in India at Manipal which he completed in 1981. Kuldeep returned to work in Malaysia for six years before pursuing post graduate studies in the UK and migrated to Australia in 1989, where he completed his registration and FRACP and commenced his professional career in General Practice. In 2002 Kuldeep established The Madison Medical Practice in Hornsby, with a focus to deliver the highest possible medical care for his patients. Kuldeep has a keen interest in Aged Care, Mental Health, Men’s, Women’s & Child’s Health. His dedication and commitment over the years to his patients has shown that he is a well-respected empathetic Medical Practitioner within the Hornsby community. Gagan is a female General Practitioner who graduated from the Government Medical College in Amritsar, India in 1992. After migrating to Australia in 1996 she continued her studies and trained at Prince of Wales Hospital, Concord Repatriation General Hospital for many years to expose herself to many areas of patient care to enhance her medical experience. Gagan commenced her General Practice Specialty training at the University of Western Sydney as a part of the “Wentwest” program in 2005. After completing her rural term in Oberon she joined the team at The Madison Medical Practice in 2006 and has been a devoted to the Hornsby community ever since. Gagan’s empathetic and extensive experience has seen patients come from all over Sydney, a testament of her commitment to practice holistic medicine. Gagan has a special interest in Women’s and Children’s health, as well as Family Health and Geriatrics. Gagan is fluent in English, Punjabi and Hindi. Her aim as a General Practitioner is to practice medicine where she can provide quality care to all her patients and be available for them when in need.
Dr Areej George graduated with a MBCHB from Iraq in 2001, and completed her GP training in the UK at The Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital in 2011. Having this hospital training Areej has gained exposure into Emergency management, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Respiratory, ENT and General Surgery. She is a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners in the UK and a Fellow of the Australian College of General Practitioners, and holds a Diploma in Family Planning. Are has a special interest in Women’s Health, Skin Lesion review & excision, and Paediatrics; she is also fluent in Arabic, French and English.
Denise is a General Practitioner who graduated from Medicine at the University of New South Wales with Honor’s in 2009. She has a wide spectrum of medical interests and prides herself to work through and solve complex cases. Denise trained at Royal North Shore Hospital in Oncology and Palliative care, which has enabled her to engage not only with her patients through this difficult stage in life but how this health issue affects the entire family. Denise is a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners and has since completed a Diploma of Child Health to complement her interest in this field and is skilled in complex chronic illnesses, women’s health and aged care. Denise is passionate about delivering holist care to her patients and the extended family, focusing on good communication and patient-centered management. Jung-Yoon obtained her medical degree from the University of Sydney. She worked as a pharmacist before medicine but realised her passion in patient interaction and holistic approach to patient care. She has interests in Women’s health, children’s health, mental health and preventive medicine. She has DRANZCOG (Diploma in Women’s health) and currently undertaking Diploma in Child Health. She has been actively involved in community volunteer work especially for culturally and linguistically diverse groups. She provides a shared antenatal care to pregnant women booked at Manly, Mona Vale, Hornsby and Royal North Shore Hospital. She is bilingual, fluent in Korean (한국어) and English.
Dr Mina Nakhla graduated in 1985 from the Alexandria University in Egypt and completed his Australian Medical Council Certificate. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and is a Registered Counsellor with Medicare. Mina is a caring empathetic GP who has a special interest in Paediatrics, Diabetic and Asthma Management, Men’s Health and Psychiatry. Dr Michael Shen is a General Practitioner who graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine from Monash University and enhanced his knowledge by completing a Masters of Public Health from University of New South Wales. Michael’s medical training has seen him care and treat patients in a variety of Hospitals in Sydney, Melbourne, Warragul and Bathurst. Michael’s exposure as a Registrar in the specialty areas of Cardiology and Respiratory medicine has led him to utilise these skills now in General Practice. Michael has a strong passion for Preventative Health Care with an aim to help all his patients achieve a well-balanced lifestyle. Michael performs foreign body removal, suturing and wound management.
The Madison Medical Practice Hornsby welcomes Dr Harpereet Singh an experienced GP and Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Harpereet graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2008. He has a special interest in Men’s Health and the Management of Chronic Disease. Harpereet is bilingual in Malay and Hindi.
Edward Ryan is a General Practitioner at The Madison Medical Practice Hornsby. Edward has extensive experience as a Family Doctor who relieves the Senior General Practitioner’s when they are on leave. Dr Jesse Luo is a male GP who graduated from Medicine at the University of Newcastle with honours in 2012. He trained at Westmead Hospital with experience in Emergency care, Respiratory and Palliative Care medicine. He has completed the Diploma in Child Health in 2014, and gained a diverse range of experience during his rural General Practice training in Muswellbrook and in the Central Coast. Dr Madonna is a female GP who graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2012. She worked in Queensland for 2 years before returning to NSW to train in Liverpool Hospital and Sydney Children’s Hospital. She undertook her GP training in Scone and the Central Coast. The Madison Medical Practice Hornsby welcomes Dr Anjuman Jui to our Clinical team. Dr Anjuman Jui completed her MBBS from a top-ranked Government medical school – Dhaka Medical College, Bangladesh. She moved to Australia in 2007 and continued her studies and training throughout. She holds the Australian Medical Council Certificate and started the intern and residency training program at Westmead Hospital Sydney in 2010. During her hospital years she worked in different rural and regional Hospitals such as Bathurst, Orange, Coffs Harbour Base Hospital and Temora District Hospital. She entered into AGPT-Australian General Practice Training program and completed her GP training at Murrumbidgee Riverina Wagga Wagga and Temora. She completed her GP Fellowship exams successfully in 2015 and was awarded FRACGP from the Royal Australian college of General Practitioners. She aims to provide quality health care and is interested in all areas in General Practice.
