Dr Chung-Yao Yu is a Consultant Cardiologist at the Sydney North Cardiology group and the Mater Hospital. Chung-Yao is passionate about patient care and has been conducting a Cardiac Clinicc at The Madison Medical Practice Hornsby for the past 5 years. Chung-Yao completed his fellowship in Cardiac Imaging in St Vincent’s hospital and holds a PhD in Cardiac Imaging. Chung-Yao’s special interests include cardiac imaging, general cardiology and heart failure. He also performs complex diagnostic procedures and is an accredited Level B CT coronary angiography specialist. He currently reports cardiac CT for radiology providers. The Madison Medical Practice Hornsby is delighted to welcome Dr Amanda Khor a specialist Geriatrician who will start consulting in March 2025.
Dr Khor is a member of Fellow of the Australian College of Physicians and graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (BMed/MD), and a Bachelor of Science with Honours (BSc(Hons)). She completed advanced training in geriatric medicine at Wollongong Hospital, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, and Concord Hospital.
Amanda developed a deep passion for geriatric medicine early in her career as an intern. She is committed to providing holistic, individualised care and supporting patients through complex and challenging situations. Her passion lies in preventative care for the ageing population, maximising quality of life, and advancing research in geriatrics. Amanda delights in educating and mentoring medical students and junior doctors.
