Dr Jesse Luo is a dedicated male GP who graduated from Medicine at the University of Newcastle with honours in 2012. Jesse has been appointed the Medical Principal of the Madison Medical Practice Hornsby and as he has shown true leadership to his medical peers. Jesse prides himself on quality medical care and is currently teaching the next generation of medical professionals these skills, at both undergraduate and postgraduate university levels. Jesse trained at Westmead Hospital gaining experience in Emergency care, Respiratory and Palliative Care medicine. He has completed the Diploma in Child Health in 2014, and gained a diverse range of experience during his rural General Practice training in Muswellbrook and in the Central Coast. Denise is a General Practitioner who graduated from Medicine at the University of New South Wales with Honor’s in 2009. She has a wide spectrum of medical interests and prides herself to work through and solve complex cases. Denise trained at Royal North Shore Hospital in Oncology and Palliative care, which has enabled her to engage not only with her patients through this difficult stage in life but how this health issue affects the entire family. Denise is a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners and has since completed a Diploma of Child Health to complement her interest in this field and is skilled in complex chronic illnesses, women’s health and aged care. Denise is passionate about delivering holist care to her patients and the extended family, focusing on good communication and patient-centered management. Dr Michael Shen is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, and graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine from Monash University and enhanced his knowledge by completing a Masters of Public Health from University of New South Wales. Michael’s medical training has seen him care and treat patients in a variety of Hospitals in Sydney, Melbourne, Warragul and Bathurst. Michael’s exposure as a Registrar in the specialty areas of Cardiology and Respiratory medicine has led him to utilise these skills now in General Practice. Michael has a strong passion for Preventative Health Care with an aim to help all his patients achieve a well-balanced lifestyle. Michael performs foreign body removal, suturing and wound management.
Dr Jung-Yoon Huh worked as a pharmacist before realising her passion in holistic approach to patient care and obtained a medical degree from the University of Sydney in 2011. Since then she has successfully completed diplomas in women’s and children’s health. She is an accredited s100 prescriber and able to prescribe restricted medications for patients with chronic hepatitis B. She also provides a GP shared antenatal care to pregnant women booked at Hornsby and Royal North Shore Hospital. She has been actively involved in community volunteer work especially for culturally and linguistically diverse groups. She is bilingual, fluent in Korean (한국어) and English.
Dr. Kuldeep Sidhu is the Principal General Practitioner at The Madison Medical Practice. Kuldeep was born in Malaysia and studied undergraduate medicine in India at Manipal which he completed in 1981. Kuldeep returned to work in Malaysia for six years before pursuing post graduate studies in the UK and migrated to Australia in 1989, where he completed his registration and FRACP and commenced his professional career in General Practice. In 2002 Kuldeep established The Madison Medical Practice in Hornsby, with a focus to deliver the highest possible medical care for his patients. Kuldeep has a keen interest in Aged Care, Mental Health, Men’s, Women’s & Child’s Health. His dedication and commitment over the years to his patients has shown that he is a well-respected empathetic Medical Practitioner within the Hornsby community. Dr Sidhu is fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi and Bahasa Malaysia.
Dr Ying Yu is a fellow of Royal College of General practitioners, and graduated from the University of New South Wales and completed her internship and residency at Westmead Hospital where she gained experience in Emergency, General Medicine, Psychiatry and Surgery. Ying has since worked at Children’s Hospital at Westmead where she completed Diploma of Child Health, various practices including Laurieton, Springwood and Carlingford. Ying also values the teaching future GPs and has been an examiner for the Royal College of General Practitioners and took part as a GP registrar supervisor for GP Synergy, the teaching body for GPs for Australia. Ying thoroughly enjoys all aspects of General Practice, particularly the opportunity to being able to provide continuity of care for her patients and their families. Ying has special interests in women’s health, children’s health, and mental health and is fluent in Mandarin.
Dr Madonna is a female GP who graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2012. She worked in Queensland for 2 years before returning to NSW to train in Liverpool Hospital and Sydney Children’s Hospital. She undertook her GP training in Scone and the Central Coast. She is interested in various areas of medicine and community health. Madonna is fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Rehka as she is commonly known to her patients, has been a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners since 2007 with over 20 years of experience in the medical field. She has experiences with Hospitals all around New South Wales including; Concord Hospital, Blacktown Hospital, Balmain Hospital, Canterbury Hospital and Rozelle Hospital. Dr Rekha has experience in being an examiner for the RACGP college and is passionate about inspiring and educating the next generation of doctors. Dr Rekha has particular interest in Aged-care, Chronic disease management, Women’s health, Children’s health and Mental Health. Dr Jordan Summers is in in final year of GP training with GP Synergy. Jordan obtained his medical degree at Sydney University and has since been focusing upon his training as a GP . Prior to study he worked full time in outdoor education before realising a passion for medicine and patient centred care. He has previously studied a Bachelor of Human Movement at UTS. Following studying he was based at Hornsby Kuring-Gai Hospital with rotations to Mona Vale, Manly and the SAN. During this time he gained experience in Emergency Medicine, Rehabilitation, and General Medicine. Jordan has a special interest in rural and remote medicine, sports medicine, family medicine, Paediatrics, mental health and preventative care. Dr Areej George graduated with a MBCHB from Iraq in 2001, and completed her GP training in the UK at The Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital in 2011. Having this hospital training Areej has gained exposure into Emergency management, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Respiratory, ENT and General Surgery. She is a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners in the UK and a Fellow of the Australian College of General Practitioners, and holds a Diploma in Family Planning. Areej has a special interest in Mental Health, Women’s Health & Dermatology; and performs full body skin and lesion examinations, and is able to surgically manage most skin lesions and cysts. Areej also has an interest in managing skin pigmentations and keloid scars therapeutically. Dr George is fluent in Arabic & French.

Harpereet graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2008. He has a special interest in Men’s Health and the Management of Chronic Disease. The Madison Medical Practice Hornsby welcomes Dr Hannah Galvin to our medical team, as our new GP Synergy GP registrar for 2021. Hannah starts her consulting in February 2021 and will be working Part-Time until February 2022. Hannah worked as a Dietitian before realising her passion for holistic patient care is better suited to a career in medicine. She has extensive hospital experience including two years at St George Hospital working rotations in Emergency, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Palliative care, Gastroenterology and General surgery. She has since worked at Sydney Children’s Hospital, extending her skills in Paediatrics while completing a Diploma in Child health. Hannah has a rural background, outside of work she lives an active lifestyle with frequent community engagement. She is a previous volunteer for Youth Off the Streets and Secondbite Nutrition. Edward Ryan is a General Practitioner at The Madison Medical Practice Hornsby and is our Locum GP who helps out our team particularly in flu season and when our Senior GP’s are on leave. Edward has extensive experience as a Family Doctor, enjoys working in remote communities and spends most his year in central Australia managing and treating indigenous communities. Dr Anjuman Jui completed her MBBS from a top-ranked Government medical school – Dhaka Medical College, Bangladesh. She moved to Australia in 2007 and continued her studies and training throughout. She holds the Australian Medical Council Certificate and started the intern and residency training program at Westmead Hospital Sydney in 2010. During her hospital years she worked in different rural and regional Hospitals such as Bathurst, Orange, Coffs Harbour Base Hospital and Temora District Hospital. She entered into AGPT-Australian General Practice Training program and completed her GP training at Murrumbidgee Riverina Wagga Wagga and Temora. She completed her GP Fellowship exams successfully in 2015 and was awarded FRACGP from the Royal Australian college of General Practitioners. She aims to provide quality health care and is interested in all areas in General Practice.
